"They're" not "Their". It was way to late when i posted that.
Just remember folks, the Van Meter measure patheticness. For irony you need the irony meter. Perhaps we need some other kind of meter to measure ludicrousness.

I'll be happy to sell you my Van Pelt detector. As is, of course. It hasn't been in use for some time but I doubt any adjustments would be required.LPC wrote:A Merrill Meter?grixit wrote:Just remember folks, the Van Meter measure patheticness. It's a cross between a gibberish detector and an idiot warning light. It can save you hours of wasted time on the 'net.

Re: posting
I'll revisit the issue with the techno-geek wannabe gods. At one point the site had introduced some apparently highly suspect bits and pieces into the downloaded communications stream and the kids with funky shoes who only randomly shave easily prevailed in the matter when I complained I couldn't log in.UGA Lawdog wrote: I sure wish you'd start posting again at Sui, Judge. The voices in Van Pelt's head are only getting stronger, and Shoonra and I are the only sane posters over there.
I would only add that the actual number of people exposed to the nonsense of sui is bordering on infinitesimal. Contributing to the site one way or the other can only crank up their excitement on the hit-counter parade and the resultant revenue from Google's AdSense program.

The problem is that I don’t think you could intentionally come up with stuff that they take as gospel, or worse yet, they would believe you.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Hmm. The post there seem to be more coherent and the posters more earnest, but that only seems to make them more shrill. For instance, the claim that John Mccain being born on a US base in Panama was not good enough to make him "native born", he is merely naturalized, and therefor he cannot be president.

Heck, I am waiting for some mental giant over there to come to the conclusion that because of his Panamanian birth, McCain can't be liable for income tax.. wrote:Gosh, will they ever figure out that place of birth has nothing to do with it?
