I don't how it works in Canada. I suspect it isn't that different from any other western democracy in that the convicted one has to appeal the conviction to get it overturned and there has to be some grounds for the appeal before the perp is granted a hearing.

One can't just jump up at sentencing, unilaterally declare the court to be without jurisdiction and then pretend you're about to win a civil suit against the government.

I suppose it's possible Pigpot is so mistaken as to believe that this kind of magical win is possible.

Here's a short summary for the Canadian system, with minor differences between provinces. After conviction but before sentencing, the convicted person files a notice of appeal to the Crown. If the Crown and the Courts determine that the grounds for appeal have merit and are not frivolous, in Dean's case bail conditions may be modified but he stays out of the crowbar hotel until his appeal grinds through the system. If the person is not on bail like Dean is, generally a valid cause for appeal of a conviction is sufficient grounds to ask for release from custody on bail until the appeal is heard.

I like the description too, where he has written to the cops to tell them that he and his friends will be travelling in cars without tags, that is a real blow for freedom. You are really wrestling back your rights over there, please include more videos, very informative. Thank you.

Same as in a "Court". Any case dismissed for "xyz" doesn't matter as long as it's dismissed. It's the "States" ("Judges") "Court", we know that and we know that in your house you make the rules so in your house you make your rules so we can also ignore your decision as well as it may very well carry prejudice.

That's what's going on. "They" are dismissing cases without showing the "real" reasons for doing so BECAUSE "they" know "they" have no "real" reasons for dismissing the case other than there was no case to answer in the first place.

No corpus delecti, no body of evidence, no harm, no etc, so "they" dismiss for "xyz". Don't ask me for proof about this... the proof is in "their" dismissal. "They" have NONE.

The police clearly weren't going to waste time with an idiot, so they left to do something else with the intention of coming back when the idiot had gone.

It's standard procedure, the guy didn't "win", he just made a fool of himself in a way that reduces his standings in future incidents. That, returning to the football analogy is an own goal.

The thing is you "guys" like the idea that what IS now Is "Law" and "Order" but "It's" not... "It's" "bullsh1t". "It's" a criminal class trying "their" hardest to control a bunch of people that would destroy this idea of "rule" in seconds. "It's" coming people... and "It's" not too far away. I won't say thankfully as I am unaware of the outcome though it will be a different one from this. "B.O." can try and ban all the weapons he wants but the fact of the matter is "they" will exist outside of him or it.

I believe our subject has an active fantasy life regarding a revolution after which he will pay back all the cops and judges for the laws they have enforced upon him.

I suspect there is a old teacher or coach in the fantasy too.

I had a friend like you when I was about 10. He used to watch Bruce Lee films and react to them like you do to YouTube videos.

Fortunately he grew out of it and joined the real world.
